APPLICATIONS OPEN – PROTOTYPING FUND – FALL 2025 (5th Edition)

The Prototyping Fund was originally launched as a collaborative initiative between the DESIS Lab @Nova SBE and the Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute, created as part of the Shaping the World by Innonexus project, funded by the European Union. Over the course of the first three editions that run from September 2023 to November 2024, the program successfully supported interdisciplinary teams from Nova SBE and LSE (London School of Business) in the development of innovative prototypes, providing up to €600 or €2000* for hardware, software, and engagement activities. These teams were connected with valuable resources, tools, and mentorship to turn their ideas into reality (learn more about the awarded projects below).
In 2025, after the successful completion of the initial cycles, the Prototyping Fund returned for its 4th session on Spring 2025, led by the DESIS Lab @Nova SBE. And now we are back for the 5th edition! We are excited to continue supporting student-led innovation, and foster creativity and technological solutions across disciplines, programs, and schools at Nova University.
*For projects that were previously awarded in a previous cycle and are now seeking to reapply to further develop the initial prototype.
