Design Jams

What is it?

A one-day event, open to all people interested in collaborating and co-creating for social impact, to engage in multi-disciplinary collaboration to design, iterate and refine impactful solutions to address social and environmental issues.

The first edition was in 2022 and we already count with three editions with two different partners. Our intention is to continue to have at least 1 Design Jam per year, strengthening this project as an impactful platform that drives social innovation.

Testimonials

“The feedback we got is very valuable to the project. In particular, the point about building a story is really interesting and something we never really thought about, as we have previously focused on describing the business model and the product when presenting, rather than building up a story around the problem and our solution.” (NOVA SBE student)

“As design students, we don’t usually think about how to make the idea viable. We never think about business models. The questions and feedback we receive today force us to think of our idea in a different way. We think it will help us implement it.” (FAUL Student)
