ROSI (Research on Open Social Innovation)
ROSI (Research for Open Social Innovation) was created in February 2022 by Anne-Laure Fayard (Nova SBE) Joanna Mair (Hertie School of Public Policy), Thomas Gegenhuber (JKU Linz and Leuphana University Lüneburg) and Paolo Leone (Nova SBE). It aims to create a community of researchers interested in open social innovation by bringing together a diverse group of researchers studying social innovation, open innovation and cross-sector collaboration.

2024
Redefining Scholarly Assessment: How Post-Publication Peer Review Practices Affect Academic Publishing” – Joint work by Paolo Leone and Philipp Tuertscher (VU Amsterdam) on the emergence and adoption of post-publication peer review practices. They are collecting data on the use of PubPeer, an online platform known for facilitating post-publication discussions and critiques. The project seeks to explore the advantages and challenges of these practices, contributing a detailed perspective on their impact on research standards.
Teach for Portugal – Ongoing data collection to understand the process and practices that enable young adults to become responsible and engaged citizens, potentially influencing the education ecosystem (Research project led by Rita Nascimento supervised by Anne-Laure Fayard).
Portugal Social Innovation – Ph.D research project led by Yulia Vachevskikh supervised by Anne-Laure Fayard and Anne-Claire Pache. An exploratory analysis of co-creation and participatory approaches.
Anne-Laure Fayard with Riddhi Varma Research on power dynamics in co-creation based on a review of the literature and of existing toolkits. .
2023
Anne-Laure F. supervision of Yulias Vachevskikh Ph. D research project on the role of Portugal Inovação Social intentionally creating and nurturing an ecosystem for social innovation. Save the Children - Anne-Laure F. and Farah M. are researching the role of behavioural science and new forms of organizing in international development, looking at the role of CUBIC as a behavioural science studio and what their role within a non-for-profit, to help create better informed programs.
Paolo Leone is working with Philipp Tuertscher (VU Amsterdam) on the emergence and adoption of post-publication peer review practices. They are collecting data on centers on the use of PubPeer, an online platform known for facilitating post-publication discussions and critiques. The project seeks to explore the advantages and challenges of these practices, contributing a detailed perspective on their impact on research standards.
Anne-Laure F. is the advisor for qualitative research in a collaboration between Nova SBE and the consulting company New Angle on UNICEF projects in South Sudan and Kirgizstan.
2022
Research Project on Inclusion Practice – This project (involving Filipa Lancastre, Rita Nascimento and Anne-Laure Fayard) is a qualitative study of the peer-to-peer program created by the Inclusion Community Forum, an initiative from the Leadership for Impact Center, Nova SBE
Exploratory project on co-creation & cross-sector collaboration with an international non-for-profit Anne-Laure Fayard started in Fall 2022 an exploratory study of co-creation practices with CUBIC, the behavioral lab of Save the Children. She has been following a cross- sector collaboration project involving Save the Children, several public stakeholders and local organizations as well as an international company.

2009 Building_space_words – An interactive, multimedia installation with Aileen Wilson – Wunsch building, NYU-Poly, Brooklyn, New York, March 5-27, 2009. Institutional support from NYU-Poly along with sponsorship totaling $20,000 and media partner, SEED magazine.
