Comic book workshop | Workshop de Banda Desenhada
Comics is a language. It is made up of text and images, but it is not enough to put them side by side. It is necessary to learn how to speak a specific language, comics precisely. In this short workshop we will go through the basics of this language, through practical examples and details. An immersion in the world of storytelling and comics for anyone interested in exploring this fantastic expressive world. You are welcome!
Seja bem-vindo!

Nicola Lonzi
Born in Italy, Florence (Tuscany), he has always cultivated research in drawing and painting. He graduated in Moral Philosophy in Italy, with a research on the passions in Spinoza’s Ethics, then he got a PhD (Florence, 2008) in mixed disciplines: philosophy and computer science, which led him to the study of computer science and later to teaching and working as a developer. He collaborated briefly with the University of Paris Saint Denis in France (where I lived 4 years: 2013 – 2017). In France, his passion for comics and his knowledge of the French-Belgian and international comics scene definitely matured. In 2017, He left France and moved to Berlin, where he lived until the end of 2021, devoting himself mainly to drawing and comics. In parallel he always worked part of the year as a Frontend computer programmer. During the years in Berlin he did various exhibitions and started to sell his comics work, mainly drawings and original boards from exhibitions and on commission. He has published for some Italian (irrequieto) and German (lcb) online magazines. He participated in many initiatives of the Berlin art scene (collective works, drawings for films and short films, exhibitions, collaborations, lifedrawing and comics marathons). He arrived in Lisbon in October 2021. He participated in the collective exhibition with Lisbon Drawing Club, exhibiting and selling some works made during the Life Drawing sessions. He made a short comic story that will be published for the Cais magazine. Currently he is working on a personal comic book and several short stories.
