Design Jam for Sustainable Fashion

Join us for our DESIGN JAM FOR SUSTAINABLE FASHION, hosted by DESIS Lab @Nova SBE in partnership with the Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute, as part as the project Shaping the World by Innonexus, funded by the European Union.

As the global population continues to grow, the fashion industry plays a pivotal role in shaping our planet’s future. With the current trajectory, it is anticipated that by 2050, the demand for clothing will skyrocket, placing immense pressure on environmental resources (Ellen MacArthur Foundation). While fashion is a vibrant expression of creativity and identity, it is also a sector confronted with pressing challenges, ranging from excessive waste and pollution to exploitative labor practices. As we navigate towards a more sustainable future, addressing these issues becomes imperative for the well-being of our planet and the ethical evolution of the fashion industry.

During this design jam we will invite participants to engage in multidisciplinary collaboration and ideation to generate meaningful and impactful solutions that address the current social and environmental challenges faced by the fashion industry.

This event is open to ANYONE passionate about fashion and / or sustainability and most of all interested in collaborating for social impact.
