April 19, 2023 @ 11:00 – 12:30
Join us for a workshop on Business Design for Social Innovators, open only to Nova SBE students
Business Design combines human-centered design methodologies and mindsets with business model and strategy tools and approaches to solve business challenges. Social Innovators can leverage business design to:
- De-risk business ideas and draft models to move a business concept forward.
- Create products and services that deliver unmatched value to customers
- Improve on existing products, services and offers
- Refine their business model to achieve scale and impact
- Improve their internal business processes and structures
- Design strategies to deliver better impact
- Create partnerships that can help scale their business
For this workshop, we will explore how social innovators can leverage the art of business prototyping to refine aspects of their businesses that are essential to achieving product-market fit and impact.
The workshop will be facilitated by Isaac Jumba, the Spring 2023 Social Innovator-in-Residence invited by the ERA Chair in Social Innovation. The workshop is organized by the DESIS Lab @ Nova SBE in partnership with the Haddad Institute Entrepreneurship. The workshop will take place at the Haddad Institute.
