The DESIS Lab and ERA Chair in Social Innovation at Nova SBE and the Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute are pleased to announce the awardees for the Fall 2023 Prototyping Fund under the program Shaping the World by Innonexus, funded by the European Union! The Prototyping Fund awards teams of students up to €600 to build any kind of prototypes and bring their ideas to life.
The application committee was excited to see such a diverse set of ideas. On this first round we received 12 applications and we selected 6 teams.
Awarded teams will spend the semester exploring, testing, and iterating on their prototypes. The teams will gather at the Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute room (03/10) to formally kick off the program and review the basics of prototyping. Projects range from community engagement workshops to tackle elderly isolation and promotion of sustainable fashion to apps for house energy efficiency control and fight illegal dumping or repurpose of old tires.
Learn more about the teams below and save the date for the final showcase on Thursday, November 28th, 2023 from 06:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Nova SBE Haddad Entrepreneurship Institute room to see the amazing prototypes built by these teams.
